VALERIE HOOVER

Valerie Hoover created, launched and grew two previous successful businesses over the past 18 years before founding Leadership Strategies, LLC. As part of a leadership team with Syal Consult, Valerie also helps executive's take their companies from “good to better to great.” Valerie's firm, Financially Empowered Women, established in 1995, specialized in providing consulting and money management services to women and women-owned businesses. For that firm, Valerie created and delivered seminars and workshops on Becoming Financially Empowered, serving over 1000 women throughout the United States in uncovering the emotional issues that get in the way of achieving financial goals. Previously, she was CEO of a firm that created and operated several day spas over nine years, serving as many as 200 clients a day at its peak. Currently, Valerie serves on the first-ever Women's Advisory Board for the Illinois State Treasurer, is on the Board of Directors for “Hey U.G.L.Y, Inc”, is a Chicago Friend for BoardRoom Bound, and also serves on the Advisory Board for The Women's Leadership Exchange. Over the years, Valerie has mentored women on developing, launching and growing successful entrepreneurial organizations. She has also studied professional coaching with several prominent coaches training organizations. Valerie is committed to supporting others in realizing their dreams and experiencing freedom in the process.
